4th of July Cupcakes
I’ve been back at my baking again (that is if making cupcakes from a store-bought box of cake mix can be considered “baking”)! I know the 4th of July is a ways off, but I wanted to give you a sneak peek of what I’ll be bringing to the potlucks and BBQ’s that we’ll be attending. And Jon will eat about anything that pops out of the oven no matter how it’s decorated so this batch definitely won’t go to waste! After letting the cupcakes cool I frosted them (again with the store-bought frosting) and added the red, white, and blue sprinkles. Now that makes a festive cupcake in itself, but then I added one of our 4th of July Cupcake Liners around the outside and created a cupcake pick using the Celebrate Freedom A la Carte stamp. I stamped the fireworks in Memento Lady Bug and Paris Dusk ink and cut them out with Spellbinders Big Scalloped Circles Small. I also added a touch of glitter to the images using the Quickie Glue Pen. A super quick and easy project…and yummy too! Thanks for stopping by today! Hope you all have a wonderful day!
