Can't wait to get my stamps, I have so many birthdays coming up, I can't wait to ink up!! Love ALL the inspiration here, it's been fantastic!!

  • Denise (peanutbee)

LOOOOVE the chocolate accent on the icing and that fun baker's twine. FANTASTIC card, Taylor…so fun! 🙂

  • Expressions of a Creative Mind

This is hilarious!! But GIRL! If I thought it would work I'd be all up on it

  • Leeci

Okay…this was cute! Totally got my attention! At first I thought you came up with a new TV idea or YouTube idea, then when I read the part on "a new cinnamon gum" I thought ha ha, just a joke..then I read you actually DID buy gum… geez, just reading it got my mojo going…I haven't had that many thoughts that fast in such a long time! LOL! By the way, cinnamon is one of my two favorite flavors with Clove being the other!! Ever had those lollipops or candy sticks from the Fair in Cinnamon or Clove flavors? YUMMY!!

  • LindaC

When I've misplaced my mojo, I go to my favorite blogs and look at others' creations. That usually gets me going.

  • Charmaine

    Hilarious!

When I'm lacking inspiration to create, I blog hop…I always find something fun there to inspire me.

    Charmaine

  • hollyann

When my mojo leaves, I go blog hopping…and often bake something yummy to ponder ideas over, but a stick of gum would do wonders for my waistline, heheheh

  • Cassie

Haha, that is hilarious, Taylor! When my Mojo is missing I just go blog hopping! So much inspiration can be found through my crafty blogging friends that I eventually get the mojo flowing. That and I'll go window shopping at my favorite online stores, hehe.

    Congrats, Chris!

  • Amber (bambi64)

I'm probably too late for this but this is too cute to pass up a comment. To find my mojo, I just start coloring for fun and then let it all go from there.

  • Nacole

When I get stuck, I go shopping. Not for anything, more of a window shopping excursion. If I really like a display in a window or see a really pretty outfit, I stop and think, "What is it about that that I like so much?" Usually, I find a new color scheme or thinking of using my tools in a new way. It's also a fun way to appreciate other forms of artistry.

  • Billie A

When brain challenged I usually just look at my scrap room and stamps, paper, embellishment for inspiration, if still stuck then blog hops really help, I can always come up with something, of course your site has really inspired me as I love your style, your colors and all that you show. Thanks for being there. hugs

  • AShu93

I look at blogs to get ideas & usually a sketch helps me.

  • Anonymous

    Hey Taylor,
Love the funny gum idea! I think it really does get at the heart of finding one's mojo when it disappears because we kind of need to trick ourselves into action more than anything else. I have always found that if I just get up and do anything – like sweep the porch even – I get going again. But maybe I'll just have to try that gum next time! Thanks for the fun – Susan B

  • mahuntington

Well you got me! I got suckered in. That was really funny. When my Mojo leaves me I go outside and talk to my 39 little kids that live on my cul de sac. Nothing like little kids to get your thought juices flowing again. Kids say the darndest things!

Okay….I am super gullible so I was like reading every word very carefully thinking all the magic would be in that gum! Doh! lol Very cute.
Usually I get the mojo going by looking through a magazine or SU! catalog or Take Ten. That usually inspires the creativity!

  • Darlene

That is so funny! I love it…I have lost my mojo and have been struggling to get it back. But I hate cinnamon gum, so maybe just the thought of having to chew that gum will make my mojo come back on it's own…thanks for the laugh!

  • Rebecca Ednie

I look at a really inspiring magazine or book, create really simple things that are no brainers, look at the hundreds of card pictures I have saved, look online for project instructions and try a new 3-D project. Sometimes that just doesn't work though and one if four things happens. If I have a deadline, I just create anyways and it nearly always works out. Or if I have enough time, I just leave it for another day. Or I watch TV while I work. Sometimes that works though it can take me twice as long to make a card. Or I blog and older project instead.

  • Marianne :)

Classic case of advertising from my younger days! I miss all those wacky claims!! When I lose my mojo, I reorganize my craft room. I find all kinds of stuff I have totally forgotten about and by seeing how much stuff I have collected makes me feel bad that all that $$ is tied up on craft stuff so I try to remember what intent I had when I bought the item(s) and I get all pumped up again!

  • Amanda Kowalker

Whoo hoo! Fun gum! lol! Hmm…when I loose my mojo? Not really possible, I am constantly looking at amazing blogs (this being one of them ;)) and that keeps me going! Also I subscribed to your monthly kit and have just about gone crazy with it! Love it!

  • Pam S.

oh fun Taylor! magic! always love cinnamon! lol I find looking around the internet always provides me with tons of inspiration. Otherwise if I escape and read awhile that helps too!

I live in So Cal to and would love a pack of that inspiration gum! When, and I do often, lose my mojo I find stamping with a friend gets me back on track. But when I can't pull a friend out of the "friend meat locker" I usually start flipping through my many boxes of cards that I've collect and kept because of layouts and color combos. Many times I case myself just to get back in the swing of things. But I do find answering the call of a sketch challenge can jump start the creative process. Thanks for the giggle.

  • Whimsey

LMBO – that is really funny!!! Have you tried the gum – is it tasty?

I often fall back to a sketch and "cutesy/whimsical" images when I've lost my mojo….usually a little crafting just for the fun of it, helps bring back my mojo.

Thanks for the chance to win!!

  • Debbie

When my mojo disappears I usually switch to a different hobby such as sewing or painting. Then I realize how much I missed stamping and get back to playing with paper.
Sometimes I just clean up my craft space and that works.
Cute gum package! What a find.

    Debbie Reaves

  • Cindy O'Donnell

That gum is so clever! If I don't find inspiration on the list of blogs that I visit daily (hard to imagine that is even possible!), I turn to my great paper craft magazines and idea books. Of course buying new paper and embellishments always helps too!

  • Harriet Skelly

Hi Taylor! Love that gum! So funny. When I lose my mojo (assuming I have it to begin with) I go to SCS and surf through the galleries – and either case a card or do a challenge. I also go to my favorite blogs.

  • Lisa Hjulberg

Too cute Taylor! I'm not sure I'm incredibly creative ever, much less instantly, but perhaps the gum would help!

When I lose my mojo, I try to first take a break and then do a bit of blog surfing. It's usually not long before something catches my eye and inspires me!

As with every other 'lost' item in my home I look in my teenage daughter's black hole (disguised as a room)!
If it'snot there I visit Taylored Expressions! LOTS of great ideas there to jump start the mojo.

  • Patti Gingrich

Too funny Taylor! If only it were that easy! I love blog hopping and pulling out my magazines, but the best way for me to get my mojo flowing is to stamp with friends!

  • maggiemeow

When I feel my mojo has gone missing, I'll blog hop then pull out lots of designer paper, spread all of them out until I find a pattern or color that grabs me. Then I get ribbons, button, whatever else looks good with it and just play. Usually an idea will pop into my head and off I go.

  • Sareeta G.

When my mojo just ups and leaves I start looking at clothing..particularly my patient's clothes. Some of them have the most amazing patterns and layouts right on their clothes!!

Thanks for the chance to win!

  • Purrfect Paper Creations

Hey Taylor–just wanted to say Woo Hoo! I am so excited to have been the lucky number from the blog hop, thank you so much!

    Chris L.

  • Karen

ROFLOL!!! This is hilarous Taylor! I nearly spat my breakfast over the screen reading that!

Ok, so what I do when my mojo goes missing is jump onboard some challenges and I seem to get back up to speed pretty quick!

  • Angela Knopf

That is absolutely FABULOUS!! I love it!!

When my mojo is gone I usually turn to sketch challenges. It's great not having to think about where you're going to put things, or whether or not something should be in the corner, or if there's balance…instead, you get to have fun. After a few challenges, I find my mojo is back and in full swing.

  • Tangii

That is the funniest thing! My Mojo normally bails on me when I haven't been crafting, that or when my studio is a disaster. I find that I really am a happier person when I craft on a regular basis. There are a few challenge blogs that almost always getting me started if I am stumped, your sketches ALWAYS get the creative juices flowing! Have a great week.

  • Dee

That is the cutest gum I ever seen LOL!!! When I lose my Mojo I do several things. 1. I surf threw the SCS gallery 2. I surf threw Youtube Card Making Vids. 3. I finally tackle the closest Sketch Challenge and Color Challenge I can get my hands on. Once I follow this I start getting back in the groove again 🙂

  • Nancy

Such a funny idea! I guess if you believe the gum works, it is possible! I usually step away from the drawing board and switch gears completely. Go to antique stores or museums or even brows catalogues. Going outdoors in nature really helps too!

  • Heidi

I rearrange my craft desk, never knowing what I might unearth.

  • Katherine

When I've lost my creative mojo I search under all of the sofa cushions…oh, wait, I think that is what I do when I need some spare change, LOL!… um, I think the main thing I do is visit blogs like yours and flip through magazines. Usually I wind up with tons of great ideas in a relatively short time frame.

I totally love the creative gum! That would be the perfect way to get that mojo flowin' again! : )

  • Do Be Do Bead Do

Too funny. And, being from So. Cal., I'm wondering where you found such a thing. Where do I go when I've lost my mojo — why to your stamps, of course! Hope to see you again soon at Pages!

  • LJM

That is awesome…to bad that advertisers aren't allowed to make outrageous claims anymore!!!!

When I am in need of inspiration I tend to do a bit of blog hopping.

    Have a great day.

  • Tamara

Oh my goodness! That gum is fantastic 🙂

I am usually able to find my mojo by doing a different craft. I love stamping, but if things aren't going well I will leave my project and do some sewing, or cross stitch or crochet. then, when I come back I usually have some ideas to play with.

  • margie c

Hahaha! That is so funny! I love it!
When my mojo goes on vacay, I turn to my books and read until I can't read anymore! Then I go looking for inspiration by blog-hopping around and it usually does the trick 🙂
    Enjoy your day! hugs, margie

  • Katie Skiff

That is too funny!! I love it.
When my mojo goes missing, I might take a break and work on something else. But if I need it, then I usually do some blog hopping and check out a craft mag. That will usually inspire me!

  • Colleen

OK that is too funny! Really! I often find my mojo in a sketch or some other kind of challenge…

What a great little find! Fun!

  • Carol Dee

When my mojo has up and gone… I visit YOU !!! Goodness wouldn't it be fun if a stick of gum would do it? What a fun find you have there. 🙂 hugs…

  • Jodi

Oh my gosh… I just snorted tea all over my keyboard laughing so hard. I sooooo need this gum!

When the mojo leaves, I find that going on a photowalk really helps! When you go out specifically to find interesting things in nature to photograph, it makes your eye see things in a different way! Almost always brings some mojo back into my crafting. And if that doesn't do it, chocolate is always a good 2nd choice! (hehe)

  • Lorie

Okay, that is funny! When I find that I'm not creative it is usually because I'm not crafting enough so I make myself get in my craft room and get busy. That and I blog surf and will sometimes CASE something just to get the juices flowing. :o)
