Taylored Expressions January Sneaks – Day 3
Here we are at the last day of sneak peeks before all of our new products are available for purchase at the TE Store on Friday morning at 8am PST! If you’ve tuned in during our last two days of sneak peeks then you already know there’s a lot to love this month! The Baker’s Dozen and I have saved some of the best for last and we’re excited to share more sneak peeks using three more new stamp sets and a Valentine Card Kit for the kids (or the kid at heart!). All of the stamps we’re sharing today are made from the highest-quality pink rubber and come already closely trimmed and stored on a full-color panel. I’m trying not to be so chatty today so I’m gonna get right to the goodies!
Most of the time I like to save the best for last, but I just can’t hold this one in any longer! I’m so excited to introduce our Tiny Chefs who’ve been working hard to whip up some creativity with our new Kids Valentine Card Kit. I hope you’ll all join me in giving a big TE welcome to Savannah (7), Sarah (9), Meredith (4), Lauren S. (10), Lauren P. (11), Jayanta (6), Catie (3), Harrison (6), Avery (8), and Gabby (3). These creative kids took the supplies in our Kids Valentine Card Kit and turned them into fabulous projects to give their friends and family for Valentine’s Day! Aren’t they adorable!?
As a child growing up, I always wanted to do whatever my mom was doing! Many of you have probably heard me say this before, but I have fond memories of picking up my mom’s scraps of fabric and discarded floral arrangements to create my own masterpieces. I remember having such a sense of pride for the projects I made “all by myself” and I’m sure you can see that in the smiles of our Tiny Chefs above. I’m so glad I have parents who encouraged me to explore the creative side of myself and I think that is such an important part of being a kid! Being given the opportunity to be imaginative is one of the greatest gifts! I know my mom wasn’t always thrilled with me using her “stuff” (I probably messed up more things than I helped with!), but that’s where we’ve got you covered! With our Kids Valentine Card Kit you just provide the stamps and ink and allow your child, grandchild, niece, or nephew to explore his/her creativity with the supplies provided! It doesn’t get much better than that…except the price tag at under $10!
All of our Tiny Chefs used the new Kid at Heart stamp set on their projects. This is a stamp set that I illustrated not just for the kids, but for the kid at heart too! It’s filled with cutesy images that are mostly solid for simple stamping along with punny sentiments and a frame that coordinates with our Take Note Die 3. There are enough supplies (including envelopes) to create 20 Valentines with one kit. You’ll see many of the kids incorporated candy into their projects which is only the best part of Valentine’s Day, right? Each of our moms will be sharing their child’s project on their blogs today. Each of the Tiny Chef projects will be designated by a special Tiny Chef badge. While we don’t have children, I am lucky to have a 10-year old cousin (Lauren S.) who loves to get crafty! Here’s what she created:
I know many of our Tiny Chefs will be stopping by to check out their ‘debut’ here today and I’m sure they’d appreciate your encouragement of their creativity! Thank you guys and gals for your fabulous inspiration!
It’s hard to get any better than these adorable kids, but I still have so much more to show you! We have lots of amazing Cuppie fans out there who are going to swoon over these sweets! Did you know Cuppie has friends? Actually, maybe they’re groupies because Cuppie himself is quite famous! If you haven’t been over to illustrator Jessie Oleson’s blog to see all the shenanigans of Cuppie you’re missing out! This month I’m excited to introduce Sweet Friends, a gathering of Cuppie groupies! There are so many scene possibilities for these sweets and I decided to stamp several of them together for my card. I colored them with Copics to match the MME Tickled Pink patterned paper and then cut them out with Spellbinders Labels 11. With the die still in place I airbrushed the inside of the image with blue Copic. A added a little bit of ribbon, a corduroy blossom, and a pearl brad to finish it off. It wouldn’t be complete without Cuppie himself so he makes an appearance in the set too!
And last, but not least, I want to share A Little Love with you! This mini stamp set was designed as part of our popular series of stamp sets which also includes Fright Night Favors and Tag You’re It. These Valentine themed labels coordinate with our Favor Frame die and will be perfect for sweet treats and tags! I decided to decorate a set of test tubes filled with Valentine jelly beans. Mmmm…..Jelly Belly! I coordinated the stamped labels with the colors of the jelly beans (Rose Coral & Warm Red). I love how these turned out, but I must admit that I promptly ate the jelly beans after taking this photo. Happy Vday to me! And now I have an excuse to go out and buy more jelly beans! *grin*
Thank you so much for stopping by today! If you made it all the way to the end of this post then you deserve a handful of jelly beans! Hope to see you right back here tomorrow morning for the big release! In the meantime, check out what the rest of the team created using these three stamp sets:
