Thankful for You
Good morning! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I meant to post yesterday, but the day got away from me… Monday is just one of those days! I have all weekend to prepare for what’s coming on Monday, but somehow it never happens that way. I begin preparing on Monday morning after my Honey Nut Cheerios! I’m always in need of ‘thank you’ cards so I decided to create another one for my stash. I was drawn to the Thankful stamp set and while I know it has some images specific to fall & thanksgiving it also has several images and sentiments that are great for generic thank you cards. I used supplies from the March Key Ingredients kit on my project. There are still a few March kits remaining and five more days to subscribe and receive this super cute kit! OK… now for the details on my card. I started by stamping the image in Memento Rich Cocoa ink on Choice Buttercream cardstock. I colored the image with Copics and covered the apples with Glossy Accents. I cut the image out with Spellbinders Classic Circles and airbrushed the inner circle with Copic marker before layering it onto Spellbinders Blossom. All of the supplies are from the kit except for the Chocolate Pearls I lined up underneath the sentiment. That’s about it for this card! Now I’m off to tackle Tuesday!
