July Kit & Stamp of the Month Blog Hop Day 2
Hey there crafty friends! The Baker’s Dozen and Key Ingredients teams are back at it today to bring you some lovely inspiration! Yesterday we shared projects combining the July Key Ingredients kit with the coordinating Stamp of the Month set, Cute Hoot. In order to showcase the versatility of our kits today we’re sharing projects created with supplies from the July Key Ingredients paired up with other TE stamp sets. We all have something different so there are tons of ideas!
We have a lot of summer birthdays so I’m always in need to bright, fun birthday cards during the summer. The patterned paper in this month’s kit (Basic Grey Knee Highs) is certainly bright and fun so I chose to pair it with the Party Monsters stamp set to create this card:
I started out with Jen’s Deconstructed Sketch #109 for the layout. When I saw the graduated background I immediately thought ruffles! I love buying ruffly shirts for Madelyn so that was probably rolling around in the back of my head. I cut the patterned paper strips and curled/distressed one edge. I stamped the image in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and paper pieced it with more patterns from the 6×6 pad. I added some ribbon to the strip and finished it off with a little Bumblebee Doodle Twine.
If you’re not familiar with our Key Ingredients and Stamp of the Month subscription clubs, you can find all of the information HERE. The rest of the girls have more fabulous projects to share and I can’t wait to see what stamp set they paired with the July Key Ingredients!
