A Week of Share Joy Inspiration – Sketch Challenge
Hey there crafty friends! It’s time for another challenge as we launch our Share Joy Campaign to collect birthday cards for the homeless. Everyone has a birthday and deserves to be celebrated on their special day! Your card donations will help these charitable organizations to provide this basic acknowledgement and celebration with the homeless that they serve. You can read about Share Joy here and find out how your handmade cards can make a difference!
To give us a jump start on our birthday cards, the talented Jen Shults has provided us with a sketch challenge:
A great sketch can be just what you need to jumpstart any card! All I had to do was choose a stamp set and arrange the patterned papers. Here’s what I came up with:
I used patterned papers from the Basic Grey Knee Highs 6×6 paper pad and images and sentiments from the Party Monsters stamp set. I colored the images with Copics and just couldn’t let the card go without more of my favorite sprinkles from Doodlebug.
Here are the supplies that I used from the TE Store:
Again today, we have several of our talented Baker’s Dozen starting us off with inspiration using the above sketch. Join in the fun and upload a link to your project too! Even if you don’t participate in our challenges, we’d still love for you to participate in Share Joy by donating birthday cards for all ages!
