Taylor’s Expressions: Sweet Marley
Good morning & Happy Monday! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! I spent the weekend figuring out how to transform the closet in our laundry room into a mudroom space. It’s like putting together a really fun puzzle! My next step is picking out a paint color. I’m thinking yellow? What do you think?
I was able to spend last weekend in Southern California to celebrate my niece’s 1st birthday! It was a beautiful milk and cookies themed party to celebrate a beautiful little girl. I also got to spend some quality time with my sisters and celebrate my youngest sister’s birthday. This is the card I made for her:
I used the Marley stamp set for the card because I knew she would love it! We actually named this stamp set after her dachshund, Marley! She’s the sweetest, happiest dog ever and I just love her to pieces! I think she loves me too because she always pees with excitement when she sees me. *grin*
I colored Marley with Copics and then I thought she needed a friend so I added the bird from the Splish Splash set on her back. The sentiment is from the Shine Bright stamp set. The grass and pennant stickers are some I found in my stash and I was inspired in the layout by Jen’s Deconstructed Sketch #135.
Thanks so much for stopping by for Taylor’s Expressions today! I’ll be back next week to kick off an exciting partnership with Simple Stories!
