Highlights from Stamp Joy 2014!

Wow! What a weekend! On Saturday we hosted our very first Stamp Joy event here in Ankeny, Iowa. The day was wonderful and fun in so many ways, from making new crafty friends to seeing the joy on people’s faces as they celebrated the joy of stamping. Here are pictures of just some of the highlights from the day:

The TE store and Inspiration Gallery saw lots of action, prompting us to put up the following sign:

Perhaps the best part of Stamp Joy was that I got to experience it with my wonderful hubby!

Of course, none of this would have been possible without tremendous volunteers, sponsors, and staff. Thanks so much to all of you for making Stamp Joy 2014 a truly joyful day! I hope to see you next year at Stamp Joy 2015!

This event was AWESOME!! =) SO HAPPY I was able to attend THANKS to my mom driving me!! =) It was an AMAZING Event and the Venue and the Classes were beyond PERFECT!! I LOVED getting to meet you ALL in person and I'm already planning on coming again next year!! THANKS AGAIN!! I LOVE TE and what you stand for!! =) KEEP up the AMAZING WORK and have a Fabulous Week!! =)

We had a great time and plan on attending again in 2015. It was worth the drive from WI. Thanks for a great event. I know what goes into putting something like this together and you all did a fabulous job.

I had such a wonderful time at Stamp Joy 2014, thank you again, Taylor and Jon and all your wonderful TE staff and teachers. We had so much fun, met new friends, made some great make n takes, and attended pretty awesome classes. The DMACC venue is superb, a more perfect location I could not have chosen. Looking forward to Stamp Joy 2015!

While I do really love clean & simple, I think my favorite card styles are ones that incorporate, even if just a little, sewing on the card. Seeing sewn edges always gives the card the feel of hand made. Thanks for this opportunity.

My cards tend to be on the clean but not always so simple side. Most of my cards need to be mail friendly so I tend to not put too much that will add to the bulk. I tend to stick to stamps and die cuts to create with.

I like to make cards that have a sense of symmetry with bold bright colors. Dogs, cute critters and winter holidays are my favorite themes to make. Thanks so much for the chance to win!

EEEEK! I love that bow. I love the card too. The turquoise colors look so beautiful against the white.
Well done.

Gosh, I don't know exactly what to call my favorite card style. Although I love a well made CAS card, the style I like has many diecut layers, word die cuts and usually a stamped panel and embellishments. I'm sorry I just don't know what that is called. I like a lot of Shabby Chic cards but only partially because I don't care for distressed paper very much.

I think I may be a contradiction of myself. I love the look of clean and simple but I also love Distress Ink and when I make a card theres always lots of colour all over.
But I do love Clean and Simple.
Love the card done here. The teal is so nice and that little bit in the black stamping looks brilliant. It really ties everything together.

CLEAN, SIMPLE and DELIGHTFUL too!!!
LOVE the bow, LOVE the aqua & white, LOVE the BEAUTIFUL Birthday sentiment and how you added a pop of aqua to it too, LOVE IT ALL!!!
I make different styles & sizes of cards, it depends on who it's for, I tend towards lots of layers, fancy folds (steppers) & sparkle and confess that I really struggle with white space, needing all the help I can get to stop myself from "filling the gaps".

I usually end up with the regular 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 but I really like the easel card if I have the time and inclination. Need to get out of the box more often.

I love CAS and I love layers! My style varies from clean and simple to a whole lotta layers but I try not to over-do it. This set is absolutely awesome and thanks so much for the opportunity to win it!

I definitely am drawn to clean and simple but also with some layers. Caryn Davies and Kay Miller's designs come to mind. Wonderful card …love the little bow.

Sweet card! I like the layered but clean and simple style although I do throw in a bit of distressing on occasion! I love to color images for my cards, too.

Simply gorgeous card! I like CAS cards, but they don't like me! I really struggle with one layer and CAS cards. I have a hard time describing my style.
I like some layers, but not too many. I rarely use bulky embellishments. I love to add twine or seam binding ribbons and a few gems or sequins.

I really like the look the bow dies help create. I end up tying all the ribbon bows for my friends so this might actually be quite the tool for me!!

I am more of simple layers and some embellishments. I am trying to get better so I have been casing some of the more in depth cards and not doing too bad!! I guess time is a factor….I wait till the last minute to create a card for my need!! Thanks for the chance to win!!

I love how this card came out, simple yet still has a certain elegance and personality to it. I am a big fan of the cutesy card style, but it can depend on who the card is for or the theme of course. Thanks for sharing your lovely card, as well as the chance to win.
