Blog Design Team: Spooky Trees or Winter Trees?
Hey there, crafty friends! Happy Halloween! Today we have something really fun from Blog Team Designer Wanda Guess!. Today, she’s showing us how to take our Spooky Trees Cutting Plate to create two completely (yet equally) fabulous seasonal projects!
Plus, to help you try your hand at creating your own cards as beautiful as Wanda’s, we’re giving away a Spooky Trees Cutting Plate! Keep reading for details…
Wanda’s Notes: Hi everyone! Wanda here to showcase one of my favorite new Cutting Plates, Spooky Trees! This die is so beautiful and I’m going to show you just
how versatile it can be.
Wanda’s Notes: I’ve made two almost identical cards, but with
very different color schemes. Both of my cards are flat, too, for mass
production for your holidays and for easy mailing.
Wanda’s Notes: When I first
saw this die, it did not immediately look spooky to me…instead, I saw a beautiful
white winter forest. So I made one card in white and one in black. I
used some pretty silver metallic paper underneath for some pizazz. I
really had fun adding some accents and pretty sentiments.
Wanda’s Notes: For the Holiday Card I used some pretty holly stamps and dies and some
elegant and simple enamel dots.
Wanda’s Notes: For the
Halloween card I took the awesome Spider Web Border Die and cut it into
little pieces to fit amongst the trees. (That makes them even spookier!)
Wanda’s Notes: Happy Halloween! Now you can keep this fun Cutting Plate out and create some holiday fun!
