I got into stamping by being invited to a stamp party. I thought no problem. I don't collect stamps (thinking postage) so i wouldn't spend any money. Imagine my surprise when I saw the real thing. Several years and several dollars (more than several) and I'm still hooked.

  • Gloria

I started stamping after I went to a free class at my library about 7 years ago. I am still hooked.

  • LindaLeaPeteren

I have always loved crafts and started card making about 2 years ago. I was looking for something to do after my husband and I decided to quit showing cats. I really enjoy creating something that I can share with others.

  • McGal

Love the rainbow with the pot o gold. Perfect for St. Patrick's Day.

  • Larissa Heskett

I've been stamping for about 6 years!! 😉 I LOVE the AMAZING community of Woman & Men that are a part of this AWESOME Hobby/Community and I can't imagine doing anything else!! 😉 THANKS for sharing and have a Fabulous Weekend!! 😉

  • Phyllis Freese

I got started with stamping when Michaels offered a stamping class. The teacher invited me to come to her stamp club and I've been hooked ever since.

  • Marie B.

I started card crafting sometime in 2008 after making a Gettysburg scrapbook while sitting on the living room floor. I then moved into the hallway with a desk and some old metal cabinets to hold supplies. Now I have my own room (built by my sweet hubby), and my treadmill sits in the hallway where I used to sit and craft…lol.. What fun it has been to see my progression from iris and teabag folding to stamping a few years later… 🙂

  • Crafty Math Chick

I started stamping when my boyfriend at the time (now husband) was deployed and I wanted to send him something a little more special than a store bought card. Love how bright and happy this card is!

  • ionabunny

Fun happy card. I have been crafting many years. I started with stitching and then got introduced to stamping by friends. What fun. Hugz

  • paulettesprettypapercrafts

I enjoy Wanda's cards and Blog so much! She is just a sweet and beautiful soul. You know, I was in the middle of a major body melt down due to that life long broken bone at the bottom of my spine 2005, reared it's head. It took 3 years to get proper help because no one was interested in helping a tall thin bleach blonde, who seemed to be making up a wild story?? Somewhere between the pain and no medical professional really willing to help me, I started collecting dies on ebay and discovered Angie Juda and Dawn Griffith both SU Demos with wonderful videos of how to use my newly acquired dies, joined a local SU monthly card class and was introduced to PTI by Ashley Newell online, I started collecting stamps too. By Summer 2008 they finally found my broken bone because I was having to take my husbnad with me to get help, had surgery and clung to my new laptop he got for me and the world wide web and all of the videos these lovely ladies shared with me about how to use my collected products and what new ones I needed to make fun and beautiful greeting cards. I'm a complete die-0-holic and there is no turning back!! There are worse addictions, right….please say Yes! Thank you for this opportunity to win some fun TE prodcuts.

  • cincyem

Wanda, I love your card-as always! I was first a scrapbooker and joined "Club Scrap" which came with a monthly stamp. It matched the paper and so I tried it as an embellishment and it worked! That was about 1998 and I have not looked back! Now its cards, tags, bags..I just can't stop and don't want to!!

  • Tracey McNeely

Wanda card is as always so fabulous. The touches of glitter are a fantastic accent. Such helpful tips too. I started stamping when I discovered a stamp store in Toronto that had some samples on the wall. I bought some ink and rubber stamps and just taught myself. My initial cards were very plain but a love was born. Thanks for the chance!

  • Vivian C.

It all started out innocently enough. A fun stamp and an ink pad from a gift shop. Then we moved to WA and there was a stamp store, a whole store filled with stamps! They had a stamp club. I made new friends who stamped. I was off and running and never looked back. It is a great hobby filled with the nicest most sharing people.

  • cghundley

    I've been doing crafts
all my life as my mom
    taught crafts to our
    Brownies and Girl Scouts.
    I can't even remember when
I got my first stamps! I'm
54 years old and do a little
    of most scrapping mediums!

  • Beatrice Lawson

I am still only a beginner at stamping, so I really appreciate seeing simple cards like this that are beautiful without being intimidating. A lot of what I see on blogs makes me think I could never do that… I started scrapping about three years ago and would love to make more cards but somehow the smaller scale seems harder to work with. Learning from manufacturer and crafter blogs is a great way to get ideas and experiment. I am slowly building a stamps collection, but still don't have a great variety or even enough inks…

  • Rae Ann

I have been stamping for over 15 years. I dabbled before that and always enjoyed it. But my husband never really understood my interest. We attended a stamping workshop for military families on the installation where my husband was stationed. My husband really enjoyed himself and finally understood why I liked it so much. Soon after, I was invited to a Stampin' Up! Party and the rest is history!

  • kelly munson

I began stamping with my grandson about four years ago. They accomplish a lot in a short time

  • Marcia Prater

I love St. Paddy's day and this is a cute card. I got start with making scrapbook pages at a Close to My Heart party. I learned real fast I loved making cards so now at our scrapbook retreats I make the cards while everyone else is scrapbooking.

  • Gina Furman

I started stamping by entering a contest about a year ago and winning some ink. I had nothing to use it with, so I bought stamps. I still have SO much to learn, and there are so many techniques I want to try! Haven't really been brave enough yet!

  • Angela

I was a scrapbooker before I started stamping. At first, I resisted. Then I saw some hedgehog stamps and fell in love with them. I was a stamp collector at first before I finally started making cards. Now, I'm completely addicted and not just a collector any more.

  • Sally

This card is delightful, love the mix of patterned papers and bright colors! I have always loved pretty papers and playing with color, so it just followed that I would love scrapbooking, card making, and stamping, too.

  • Eva Wierzbinski

I began stamping more than 10 years ago. I attended a Stampin' Up party and was hooked. There are 4 women from that original party that still get together every couple months to make cards. We LOVE getting together and create, create, create….!

  • Beverly Perdue

I started stamping about 6 years ago after making a 50th Anniversary scrapbook for my Mom and Dad. I had to make a lot of trips to the crafting store to get items for the scrapbook and once I had all of the supplies, I started stamping and making cards. I absolutely love it!

  • Katie

I started stamping about 5 years ago when a Paper Source store opened up near me and I started going in there pretty regularly. I just wanted stamps to decorate the envelopes that I was sending because I had been gifting and sending a lot of letterpress stationary to family and friends. I was looking for a humming bird for my mom to go with her gift. The Paper Source did not have a humming bird stamp so I went online and found my now beloved local stamp shop. The rest is history. I started taking classes at the shop and doing there weekly make and takes. And fell in love with stamps and stamping and being inky! Thanks for the chance to win.

    Katie B.

  • Sheila H

I took a scrapbooking class at a local community college. We made 2 layouts and 4 cards each session. I loved it immediately!

  • SchnauzerCrafts Creations

I started stamping about 7.5 years ago when I got the itch to make my own Christmas cards one year thinking it would be cheaper as I could customize the cards to my tastes, Ha! Joke was on me when I realized it's not cheaper… But I sure have fun creating with my stash and seeing the smiles on people's faces when they've opened my card or project and a few family members save every card which is really sweet.

  • Mel

I started stamping as a scrapbooker and then became addicted from there!

  • Robin B.

I started stamping shortly after I learned how to scrapbook.

  • Lydine Arriola

I started stamping since middle school but never really took it seriously! In high school I set that aside and focused more on my studies! Just last year I've decided to get back to it thanks to my hubby who's been very supportive! He encourages me everyday to do what I love to do!

  • Mrs. GraceWorks

LOL! My first stamping was with an old black ink pad and a custom stamp with my parents' business' name and address on it. I had to stamp lots and lots and lots of invoices… all three copies of every one! I started making cards 16 or 18 years ago after my sister in law bought me an SU set and a catalog for Christmas. I haven't stopped since! : )

    Tricia

  • Nancy in Oregon

Cute card, I'm always looking for St. Patrick card ideas!!

In 1989, my sister in-law invited me to a Stampin up party. Back then, they taught you embossing using an iron!! That was the start of my stamping hobby.

  • Karenladd

Oh my goodness, I can still remember how I got into stamping big-time. It was at a Stampin Up party that my friend had and I ended up buying an assortment of ink pads and 5 sets! That was the start of a long lasting love of stamps and ink! I love learning new techniques but don't seem to have enough time to do them all. I would call myself an intermediate crafter…!

  • Shona Chambers

I found Jennifer McGuire's and Kristina Werner's blogs and they totally hooked me in with their wonderful creations. I just had to give it a go and a year later I'm addicted!!!

  • Sue D

So cute. I like the sparkle and the patterned paper. I started stamping about 15 years ago after attending a SU party and love learning new techniques.
I teach beginning stampers in our church group so thanks for this great design.

  • Denise Bryant

Darling card! Love the fun stamps and the cute papers!
I started out stamping many years ago when my daughter was in preschool! I thought it would be a lot of fun to make her party invitations, etc. She is now 32 and I am still stamping!

  • Laraine R

Great card! I have been stamping for over 20 years now! I went to a stamping party and that's all it took to get me hooked!

  • Connie G

I started stamping ten years ago this month after attending a stamping workshop. I was totally hooked and have never regretted getting into this hobby. (my wallet might!) But it is so enjoyable and relaxing for me. The stamping community is fabulous- so much talent out there and I have a blog roll a mile long to prove it!!

  • Tona

This is such a fun card!
I started stamping as a way to make some quick inexpensive tags for Christmas presents probably 20 years ago.

  • Ruby N

I started when I accidentally discovered scrap booking 7 months ago and haven't looked back!!!! 😀

  • SHartl

I started stamping when I was just a little girl, about 10 years old. I still have the first stamp set I got.It was a foam mounted cat set and was a birthday gift. I did't really do much beyond just stamping on paper, no coloring, until about 5 years ago when I went to a Stampin Up party. After that I began making cards…and it took off from there. I'm still not up on a lot of techniques but I do love to stamp!

  • Jennie

Adorable card and love the papers and pattern combo!! I started stamping 10 years ago….hard to believe it has been that long, but certainly enjoy this hobby and the people I have met along the way.

  • D.Ann

Goodness, I remember when I was little getting an alphabet stamp set and I thought it was so cool I imagined I was a magazine publisher. hahaha. But it wasn't until I became disabled and needed to thank so many people, but found store-bought cards costly and tiresome hunting for just the right card… So with time on my hands, I started taking the money I would have spent on cards and used it to invest in stamps. I think people seem to cherish a hand-made card more, so I plan to continue making them!

  • LINDA M

Super CAS card! I went to a stamping party and from there went a little crazy. I became fixated with card making videos on UTube and found so many great companies online like Taylored Expressions. So many great products and super ideas from the design team!

  • Lu L.

I took a card class and needed some sentiment stamps…that's how I got started!

  • Carol G.

I started stamping when I decided that I wanted to send out personal cards to family and friends. I was noticing all the gorgeous card samples at a big name scrapbook store in town and I decided to try it. It was very intimidating for sure and sometimes still is. But the results are so worth the time and effort. Now that most of the scrapbook stores are closed, my supplies have to be bought online. So glad that I have found Taylored Expressions to fulfill that need.

  • j blanchett

St. Patricks Day! WOW!! Where did Feb go? Fun card though. I started stamping about 10 yrs ago after a friend invited me to a workshop…..got hooked and never looked back.

  • Michelle Sullivan

Super cute card! This set has been on my wish list. I stated stamping in 1999, took a 10 yr hiatus and started back a yr ago. I love it so much!

  • Tamara Dees

I began stamping about 25 years ago when I saw a homemade card for the first time. Never did much until the last 2 years. My stamping stash has exploded since then!

  • Jean

I lvoe this! Rainbows always make me smile!

  • Terri

I started stamping when I got invited to a Stampin Up event. So much fun!

  • Sara Cheng

I started stamping when my husband found some cute stamps and gave them to me for Christmas (along with some ink and embossing powder). Obviously, he didn't know what it would lead to!

  • Princess Judy Palmer

I love mail and bought my first stamps to decorate the letters I sent. I tried to buy unique and interesting cards to send and when I couldn't find any good ones I decided to try my hand at making my own. Interestingly enough, St. Patrick's Day is the first holiday I ever made cards for.

  • Anja

The first cards I created with stamping were our wedding invitations 10 years ago. But it became a real passion in autumn 2008.

  • Amy C.

My first introduction to stamping was through Stampin' Up many moons ago!

  • stamper101

Cute card! I started stamping by attending a crafting convention and when I saw all the cute cards one could make I was hooked.

  • Donna Whitten

Cute and cheerful card! I started stamping after attending a CKC Convention with a friend. I was amazed with this new craft and I've been addicted ever since.

  • Parker

How I started? A friend who homeschooled, like I was doing, had me over her house and showed me her hobby. It turned out it was her obsession. Since I've been in fine arts since elementary school to recent, I got hooked on stamping…using her supplies at first, then accumulating my own stash. Now, I'm not a beginner, but not a seasoned pro, either. Thanks for the chance at the certificate.

  • Natalie

Wanda this is adorable!! I started as a scrapbooker and it morphed into card making and that was in 2009.

  • Mary-Anne V

what a fun card…love the sparkle on the images. I started stamping about 4 years ago after getting into scrapbooking and then I used to make my own card for my kids and got addicted to stamps after that…so fun to work on a smaller canvas instead of a 12 x12 page.

  • Lisa K

I started stamping nearly 15 years ago at a MOPS meeting (Mother's of Preschoolers). The presenter showed several gift tags and cards she had made, then showed us how to stamp. It looked like something I could do with a baby and an older daughter. I went shopping to Hobby Lobby and bought a couple of stamps and an ink pad. I am still doing it after all of these years.

  • Renee M

I like the fun St. Pat's card! All I can remember is MANY years ago at Michael's they had some funny stamps on clearance near the cash registers, and of course I had to look through them as I stood in line. I bought a couple, and the collecting (hoarding) began!

  • Jean Bullock

The card is darling and I LOVE that plaid paper.

Although I had done digital stamping, I did not do physical stamping until a few years ago when I saw a video on heat embossing. I fell in love with it and have been stamping every since.

  • Michelle Laulu

I began crafting with doing scrapbooks, and slowly merged into papercrafting making cards and stamping. I love to see new projects you share with us. It's always a fun surprise to see what's next. Thank you for all your inspiration!

  • Debbie Fisher (debbiedee)

cute card! love the plaid. I've been stamping for over 19 yrs. It started when I took my oldest son to visit my brother SIL and nephew and couldn't come home because of a blizzard where I lived. My SIL introduced me to it and we stamped and made cards for 3 days! From then I was hooked!

  • Sharla

Darling card!! I started stamping 20 something years ago when I walked into a stamp store in Las Vegas, I was amazed at all the fun embossing powders, glossy papers, and then watching techniques…LOVED it. I haven't done too much with stamping, more scrapbooking, but I've been doing a lot of cardmaking lately and stamps are a must have!

  • Angela

Beautiful card. I love the bright colors!
I gradually switched from scrapbooking to stamping more than ten years ago. I love making cards and gifts.

  • Gloria

Wanda is a wonder-hit after hit!

  • Kathy D

Wanda, what a cute St. Patrick's Day card!

I was introduced to stamping at a Stampin' Up! party over 12.5 years ago. Then, Splitcoaststampers really introduced me to so much talent, so many possibilities.

Thanks for the chance to win!

  • Aartje

Great card, l love the glitter on it.
When I firt started with stampin I have used some from my sister. But soon I wanted to have them on my own. The first stamp I have bought was a little one with a cat.
Now I have a lot of stamps, but never to much.
    Hugs Aartje

  • Brandi R

    Adorable card! Love it!!!

I have been an on and off stamper (mostly off for many years till recently). It all started when my brother was a Senior in High School and my mom and I were working on his Football Scrapbook. Cheap inks, cheap stamps. Still have those lovely foam stamps 😀 My next run of stamping desire came just before my son was born 17 years ago….again the scrapbook thing 😉 I honestly can't remember what lead me to cardmaking and back to stamping again. All I know is it's a newer found love and I don't see me faltering away this time 😀

  • Anonymous

Very cute card anyone could conquer. My daughter who is very crafty and an artist wanted someone to accompany her to a stamp party, I was elected and I've been stamping ever since. It is my quiet time away from life. No husbands, children or grandchildren allowed over the threshold of my craft room door. Unless of course they want to craft 🙂

  • Beverly Boyles

I started stamping years ago as I live in a very rural area and we did not have any stores that sold cards and so I had to make my own…and I have not bought a card in over 20 years…thanks for a chance to win!!! and I am definitely making this St. Paddy card!!!

  • Kathleen Spaeth

I have always enjoyed mailing out Birthday, Anniversary, Get Well, Sympathy, Christmas (and other Holiday), Cards to my Family and Friends. When Hallmark, my Favorite Card Company, decided to move their USA (always located in Kansas City: Missouri) Plant to Mexico. I pitched a fit and decided to start hand-stamping, and making, my own cards. I try very hard to only buy, and use, USA made Stamps and Dies. I really like Taylored Expressions Products and enjoy seeing your Sample Cards. Card-making is also a great way to relieve some stress, learn new coloring techniques, and accomplish a pretty art piece (that you can send to someone to illicit a smile)!

  • Noreen

A fun card! I know 3 people with birthdays on St. Patrick's Day! I don't remember how I started stamping. I just started seeing such cute stamps and decided I wanted to use them, too.

  • Jill Norwood

I have always been a crafty girl! I started by making doll clothes and learning to crochet and always enjoyed coloring even as I got older. I kept scrapbooks and took tons of photos of my family growing up. When my husband and I had our son I began Scrapbooking more seriously. Card making started as a way to use my scraps from layouts but I didn't buy my first stamp sets until my husband got cancer. We received such an outpouring of help with his long illness that I began sending tons of thank you notes and making all my cards while he was resting. It kept me busy doing something I love at a very difficult time in my life. The friendships I have made are a huge blessing in my life! and card-making has become my favorite craft!

Wanda your card is lovely! And you always inspire me!!! And I love my TE products!!!

  • Jen

Beautiful card! I was invited by a friend to a card making class she was teaching. I needed a night out so I decided why not. Now am I am starting to make my own cards.

  • ScrappySue

Great card! Love the background paper! I've been scrapbooking for several years and then started making cards for my grandchildren for each holiday. Stamping just became part of that process.

  • Yo Glenn

Been doing crafting of one kind or another it seems like forever. It was actually scrapbooking where I made the jump to cards. I had made a scrapbook for a gift and made a card using some of the same papers used in the scrapbook. My friend showed the book and card to her friends and I started getting requests for cards for various holidays/events. Now, I actually do more cards than scrapbooks.

  • wahoolady

Gosh, I started stamping way way back when I first started scrapbooking. We didn't have dies or die cutting machines, it was pretty much stickers (Mrs. Grossman's comes to mind), doodling or stamping. Wow, things have changed!

  • Angie K.

I was invited to go to a Stamping Club with my sister in law 5 years ago and I mean to tell you, I was hooked from day one! Now I have a room filled with paper, stamps, punches and dies! I love to play with paper! Adorable St. Patty's Day Card!

  • KT Fit Kitty

Your card is adorable and I love this set! I started stamping about 10 years ago when a friend invited me to make stamped wrapping paper and tags for Christmas. I had so much fun and after that I was hooked!

  • Patti J

Wanda, this is so cute! The colors are so bright and cheerful! Great card! I began my stamping adventure in early 2000, after experiencing empty nest, mom passed away, and DH traveled weekly for work. Needed a hobby!

  • Lynn Gauthier

Adorable card. Love all that scrumptious color!
One of the guys wives where I worked was a SU Demonstrator and I used to go to her classes and order product. This was eons ago! Then she quit being a Demo and the girls I stamped with moved out of state for work so I quit stamping. Then my Mom had terminal cancer and I started back up just to take my mind away. Well, I got addicted all over again and haven't stopped since. Great therapy!!
    Thanks for sharing with us!!!

  • Taunya Butler

I started stamping when I went to a stamp workshop at a friend's house – that was over 20 years ago and my love for stamping just keeps growing and growing!! • Liz Gessner McAllister

Cute card… I have been doing paper crafting my whole life. I can't remember a time that I didn't love cutting pasting and coloring. every year for Christmas my mother bought me a box of Crayola 64 crayons. (One year when I was about 7 I even got a box of 90 something with 3 reds! (This was before they had so many different colors. The stamping part just sort of workedits way into my paper love!
