Blog Design Team: You’re So Foxy!
Hi there, crafty friends! It’s Tuesday and today we’ve got designer Amy Kolling with some tips on how to create a die-cut mini-scene that is oh-so-foxy!
Amy’s Notes: When the Little Bits – Fox came out, I couldn’t wait to use it! I created a simple little die-cut scene for my foxy using a die from the Pockets & Pages line. The P&P 3/4 Circle Showcase card panel die is perfect for a mini scene!
card panel from white cardstock, I used a standard circle die that was
just a bit bigger than the circle on the card panel die to die-cut the
sky and the grass from Saltwater Taffy and Peapod Cardstock.
This was layered over the existing circle on the card panel.
cloud? It was made using the flower from this die set too! My card
panel was backed with a slightly smaller piece of striped paper from my
stash.
pieced together with just a touch of Copic YR18 to the ears and glossy
accents to the eyes and nose. The fox was added with foam tape to
complete my scene.
Thanks so much, Amy, for sharing such a sweet mini scene! You can catch more of Amy’s design work on her blog, Stamp-n-Paradise.
