For my first project I had fun building a little garden for this wedding or anniversary card.
I started by airbrushing the cloudy sky with the Cloud Border die and my Copic airbrush. Then I die cut all of the pieces and assembled the scene.
I had fun adding all of the little details in the scene like the hinges and gate pull and the sprinkles in the flower centers. I finished it off by stamping my sentiment onto vellum with Versamark and embossing with black powder.
My second card also uses the Garden Arbor & Accessories along with the new Frame in Frame Cutting Plate to frame the scene.
I simply used the arbor and gate on this project and left the fence off. After die cutting all of the pieces it was easy to assemble them on a precut 4 x 5.25 piece of Sugar Cube cardstock.
After assembling the scene I die cut the frame from Toffee cardstock and popped it up with foam tape around the outside. I finished it off with a sentiment from the Fancy Banner 1 set.
Tip: When you purchase the Frame in Frame Cutting Plate the frames will come tabbed together. If you leave them tabbed together you’ll get 7 different frames with each cut!
Thanks so much for stopping by for our second day of sneak peeks! I hope you’ve seen something that inspires you to get crafty and share joy with your handmade creations. We’ll be back tomorrow with more inspiration and in the meantime you’ll want to check out what the Baker’s Dozen gals have created today:
