Guest Blogger: Miriam Prantner Day 3
Happy Wednesday, crafty friends! Today is a bittersweet day for us as it’s Miriam Pranter‘s last day as our Guest Blogger. You won’t want to miss the amazing project she’s created for us. Read on for details…
And now, notes from Miriam on today’s project…
I first created the card base by cutting a 4″ x 8″ piece of cardstock and and scoring at the 2″ and 6″ mark. Then, I folded the sides in.
I adhered the cardstock and patterned paper mats and cut them down the center. The two pieces were adhered to the two front sides of the card.
The Pieces of My Heart die was cut from two shades of pink cardstock. The hearts were snipped apart at the center, and then adhered to either side of the opening, one half of one color on one side and the opposing color on the other side. The other half was snipped apart and pieces were adhered over top the other pieces to create an alternating color scheme.
The sentiment was then stamped and embossed. The ‘we just Fit’ sentiment was stamped on the inside of the card.
Thank you so much, Miriam, for guest blogging for us this month! You have inspired us to think outside the box and to be creative whenever we can. For more of Miriam’s amazing work, please be sure to visit her blog, Sooner Rather Than Later.
