Blog Design Team: For the Artist in You
Happy Wednesday, crafty friends! Today is a bittersweet day for us because it is our last post with Blog Team Designer Wanda Guess. Wanda is one of the most talented designers we have ever had the pleasure to work with and we are so grateful and thankful to have had the chance to have her create for us over the years. Her project today is fit for an artist and is the perfect cap to her long TE tenure. Check it out below…
Now, here’s Wanda to tell you all about her lovely project:
This birthday card is for our creative crafty girlfriends! I had a great
time coloring these pretty, artsy images with my Copic Markers. I used
two stamp sets together to create a still life of flowers and paint
brushes. So pretty! When I know I am going to color an image, I usually
try to choose my patterned paper first so I can match my marker colors
to the paper. This gives your project a cohesive feel. I chose a kraft
card base and my finished card is a square.
Thank you, Wanda for this gorgeous project! Wanda has created some incredible cards for us, but we wanted to share a favorite past project that really shows off what a versatile artist she is. When we first saw these sweet felt pins she created for Valentine’s Day, our jaws dropped! For more details on this project, visit this post.
We hope you will leave Wanda some love below! We wish Wanda all the best and will continue to be inspired by her amazing work on her blog, A Blog Called Wanda.
