Still have 7 kids at home, so retirement is a long way off….. I see myself helping kids/grandkids and of course papercrafting with all of them with an actual studio where you can have everything available and leave it til you come back. Maybe a service mission somewhere with my husband. Travel would be fun of course!

My hubby and I are in the process of retiring. We would love to travel to new and exciting places and to share time with our loved ones. This "retirement" will also include more crafting time for me. We think of it more as a change in the focus of our time and activities during this next phase. Congrats on such a prolific design career. Looking forward to TE's future. Cheers!

I work at a chocolate factory. Most of the people are way over the retirement age! That's what I want to still be doing when I retire!

Crafting all day is definitely on the cards. Would also love to do more gardening for myself and other people and maybe spend time with my grandchildren (if I'm lucky enough to have any). Maybe I can craft with them!!

I love the thought of travelling when I retire, but just as a grey nomad with my husband, daughter and her companion dog all around Australia. Of course it would have to be in a pretty big van as I would expect to be able to fit a good supply of craft goodies in too. Along with a good supply of books.

I retired several years back and went back to work part-time because I found I actually get more crafting done when I am working part-time than when I stay home. Probably because I gain so much inspiration from people I talk with throughout work. Especially with all the elder care-giving for family members during the last 5 years. I back job hunting so I can do my pictorial genealogy on MOm's side. Got the papers and supplies, just need to get the ball rolling.

When I retire I would love to do some traveling and actually get some scrapbooking done for a change! I'd love to visit a lot of landmarks in the US, and take an Alaskan cruise. Oh, and sleep in every morning!

You've got that right about wanting to craft all day when I retire! I actually am semi-retired now and I do try to craft almost every day!! In between crafting though, I love to spend time with my two little grand-daughters (who also love to craft…so it's a win/win) and read. As much as I'm chagrined to admit it though, I've recently begun doing crossword puzzles!! I always made fun of "old people" who did crossword puzzles but they are relaxing and fun…and they make me think. Always a good thing to keep the brain active!

I would love to spend several hours a day creating beautiful cards for every occasion possible…. not just grab an hour here and there, plus the first few weeks/months of my 'retirement' would have to be getting organized in my studio…. so many papers, dies, punches and stamps that I need to put in order… that would take up the first year!! LOL
Hopefully I could also spend some time with my hubby too, travel a bit, and attend some conventions I've been wanting to enjoy.

I would spend more regular time in my craft room … not just making cards at the last minute. I have tons of things I need to clean out and organize plus I'd like to help out our daughters families and be more available to babysit or have the grandchildren over. I've heard those retirement years are more busy than the "working years"…I can't imagine!

I wish that I could "retire"! Unfortunately I'm on a carers pension for my son who has Aspergers Syndrome AND OCD!! He's also 26 years old and doesn't have a life as he's let fear run his life for him, so it means he does nothing but sleep, sit in front of my laptop, (when I'm not), and sitting in MY bed watching MY tv!! By the way WHAT is "retirement"!! lol!! Would seriously LOVE to add to my TE collection, but I'm broke!! Thanks for the chance to win some!

Well, it will have to be when my husband retires. I don't know what we will do, but I am really hoping it will either involve some sort of travel, or living near a large body of water. I could spend all my days on a beach, rain or shine, and be perfectly content. As long as I can still see my family from time to time. ^_^

The plan is to down size our home and then go first class to France and just enjoy the trip. We will stay until we do and see everything that we always wanted to see.

I have been retired 16 years & loving every day of it. I taught at several major retail craft stores for the first 5 years & then moved to a new state where I rescued & gave a home to 14 dogs & kitties. I continue to design my cards & occasionally teach, and enjoy playing with new toys like the dies, embossing folders & everything. Card making and my "furry babies", Make My Day!

Love the Delightful Day set and since I am retired, I could spend some time making this set into cards for friends and family! I never imagined time could actually go faster now that I'm retired than when I was working full time, raising a family together with my husband, but it does. Guess that means it's true, time flies when you're having fun!

I have been retired from teaching for 18 years and shortly after retiring got hooked on stamping. I belong to 4 different card making groups, sell my cards at a local florist and recently started teaching a monthly class at a local senior center! I hope to keep stamping for many more years, or at least till I use up all my cardstock! lol

I am retired from my regular job, and pretty much do what I like. Still do some contract work so I can afford my crafting addiction as well as pay for travel. Since I have retired, I have been to the Baltic, Australia, Florida (3 times), the Caribbean, Alaska, and China. Next year I plan to go on a Mediterranean cruise.

Then when I get home, I can scrap the adventure!

I have planned a community festival in early August for 20 years. i want to be able to go on vacation and not think about the festival! Is that too much to ask? Oh, and my dream retirement would include a huge crafting space that would allow me to invite friends over to play with all my stuff! I enjoy encouraging and helping others create more than making it myself!

Hubby and I talked about this not too long ago. What we want to do is get a camper, or mobile home, and go traveling across Canada. Of course, that would lead me to take pictures and then scrapping them!
