  • Sharbogast

This card is so beautiful! I guess the last time my day was brightened by someone, would be today. My sister texted and asked me to join her and her daughter for dinner. I am so happy any time someone thinks to ask me to join them for something. I just feel so loved and special. I "think" the last time I brightened someone's day, well yesterday. My husband let me know how much he is really enjoying his birthday present. (something he rarely does) He's always appreciative, of course. Always says thank you, and I love it.. but he was absolutely gushing over how much he was enjoying it, and thanking me again and again. So, I guess I did good this year.. haha Thanks for sharing this card. It really is beautiful. I love the bright colors.

I just a month ago brightened up a facebook friend who is interstate, when she received a parcel from me with a couple of magazines and crafty goodies such as dies/embossing folders/stamps and some washi tape etc. Some of those were doubles that I had found while trying to sort and clear up my dining room (I don't have a craft room, but wish I did have!). That was actually the second parcel I'd sent her, she will also be getting a third one as somehow I managed to order 2 of the same die and because it was rather cheap I decided that I wouldn't send it back but give it to her with a few other thing as well! I just LOVE this card, it's just so bright and cheery!

since Google/Blogger people think it's better to hold on to inaccurate outdated info on Me in their blogger profile for a blog that no longer exists, won't delete it or update, nor allow me to do it either! And even updating my email on my Google account which shows below if I want "follow up" email to comments, isn't good enough to cover it. Nice…

  • Julie Ann

My husband and I were on vacation and we stopped for lunch. We had this wonderful waitress who was in college, living on her own, with her younger brother trying hard to support the two of them. She had such an up beat personality and was truly so sweet. We over heard her talking to the manager about working more hours because she wanted to go to college again next semester but was having a hard time with everything. We felt so sorry for her and we both wanted to help in some way because we had a period of hard times and we knew how hard it can be. So we left her a nice tip and stopped to speak with the manager on the way out to let him know that she was a wonderful waitress. He told us that she was the best waitress that he every had and how all his customers like her but he was going to have to let her go because she was the last one hired and the owner wanted the staff reduced. My husband and I decided to give her some more cash on the way out. He folded up three hundred dollars and he went to shake her hand and wish her good luck with her education and we both said that this is not a tip. It is a gift for you and we hope that it helps. We left before she had a chance to see what we gave her. We were so happy to help her.

Gorgeous background and fabulous hot air balloon dies! Oh going on my wish list. I brightened my mom's day last week when I roasted some veggies up for her. She was so tickled by something so simple. 🙂
