Blog Design Team: A Roarin’ Good Time
Happy hump day, crafty friends! How does it look outside your window? Gloomy? Rainy? Even if it’s sunny where you are, all of us can always use some bright, happy fun, and today Blog Design Team member Isha Gupta has created a card that’s just full of it! Check it out…
And now, here’s Isha to tell us all about her project…
I think I make Birthday cards the most. I always need birthday cards on hand as my girls are always asking me for one for their friends! I
like making fun, happy cheerful cards for the kids, so I used the Mane
Event Stamp & Die Combo set for my card and used the Rainbow Brights Patterned Paper Pack to make it happy and colorful.I love the Build a Tag dies by Taylored Expressions and you might say I’m addicted to the Weathered Embossing Folder (it’s a good addiction!)
So I embossed my cardbase and adhered this colorful polka
dot patterned paper to it. I then die-cut a tag and applied some Tumbled
Glass Distress Ink using the smooshing technique. Then I stamped this cute
and adorable lion image, colored him with Copics and die-cut it with the included die. I
stamped the sentiment and cut around the banner using my scissors. To finish, I tied a knot using black embroidery floss. So, next time my daughter comes running for a card, I have one ready! Thanks for dropping by!
Thank you for sharing this sweet and magical card with us today, Isha! You can find more of Isha’s fabulous work on her blog, New Ideas. Have a joyful day!
