Saturday Share: Emboss Resist!
Happy Saturday, crafty friends! We are so glad that you could join us this weekend for another Saturday Share with members of our incredible Creative Team! This month, we asked these lovely ladies to show off their best projects using the Emboss Resist technique. This fun technique is one of those that really lets your creativity come through (and our designers really knocked it outta the park!)
For those of you who are unfamiliar with the Emboss Resist technique, here are a few simple steps:
1) Stamp your image using embossing ink (such as VersaMark), sprinkle with embossing powder, and heat emboss with a heat gun. Allow image to cool.
2) Apply coloring medium (ink, watercolor, marker, etc.) directly to the paper (over and around the embossed image).
3) Wipe the embossed image with a tissue to remove the excess ink.
Taylor created a simple and pretty card using the Emboss Resist technique. Check it out…
Now for even more fun! Check out the amazing projects below from our Creative Team. For details on how each project was created, simply click on a project image or designer’s name. Then, grab your supplies and create something using the Emboss Resist technique and share some joy today!
