Blog Design Team: Saving You a Spot
Hey there, crafty friends! We had such a terrific Release Week last week and we just want to say ‘thank you’ to everyone for joining in on the fun! Today, Blog Design Team member, Lisa Henke is sharing a sweet card she created using our Sit & Chat stamp set and coordinating dies. Check it out…
And now, here’s Lisa to tell us all about her project…
What a fun stamp set to work with! Sit & Chat‘s simple images and simple sentiments are a great way to send a beautiful message to someone special. When I saw the adorable furniture in the Sit & Chat stamp set, I knew I wanted to create a sweet little scene with it. So many TE stamps and dies are perfect for scene building. I used the Stitched Circle Stacklet to highlight it all.
I ran the circle die through my Vagabond twice, once with Sugar Cube cardstock and again with a light grey cardstock. To create a paneled wall look, I then ran the grey circle through the Vagabond again with the Bead Board Embossing Folder.
I then got busy coloring up the sweet chair with some green Copics and then stamped and colored my lamp. I used the coordinating Sit & Chat dies to cut them out. For a pop of color, I stamped the pillow onto the orange chevron pattern from the Build A Scene 6×6 paper pack.
I used the Let’s Talk Bubble 1 die on white cardstock and stamped the sentiment in green from Sit & Chat. I layered the circle onto a Salt Water Tafffy and PeaPod card panel.
