November Sneak Peeks: Personalize it with a Monogram!
Good morning, crafty friends! We’re continuing our sneak peeks with more gift giving ideas today as we showcase a new collection of dies and stamps designed to help you create personalized gifts with ease! All of our new products will be available for purchase beginning on Thursday, November 3rd at 7am PST!
Are you ready for today’s big news!? I’m thrilled to introduce you to our Initially collection of dies which includes all 26 letters of the alphabet (plus &). Each letter is sold in a set of three dies (one large capital, one small capital, and one small lowercase). The small dies are designed for card projects while the larger dies can be used for home decor projects, canvas or shadowbox art, monogrammed pillows, tea towels, baby onesies, and so much more! We’ll be exploring ‘anything but a card’ ideas tomorrow, while today we’re focusing on ideas for notecards, journals, and more using these Initially dies!
Before I get to today’s projects, I want to make sure you know about the special offer with our Initially collection of dies. Purchase any four of our Initially dies, and you’ll receive the Garden Party background FREE! The free stamp will be automatically added to your shopping cart when your order qualifies.
And now let me share with you the project I created using one of the Initially dies as a monogram on a set of notecards for my sister, Whitney:
I started with the Garden Party Background stamp which has an open circle in the middle of the design making it perfect for housing a monogram (or a verse or other sentiment!). I’m passing my own love of rainbow on to my sister and decided to stamp the background in the ROYGBIV spectrum. Here’s a closer look at the background stamp:
After stamping the background in several colors, I die cut the ‘w’ from Oreo cardstock and adhered it in the open circle on each of the cards. Then I simply assembled the set onto Sugar Cube card bases with a slight layer of Oreo behind each stamped background. This set of cards only took about 30 minutes to make from start to finish!
Of course, anytime I give a notecard set I like to put it in pretty packaging so next I worked on getting this all packaged up with stamped envelopes in coordinating colors and envelope seals using the Sealed with Love stamp set (all of these coordinating goodies can be found in the TE Store!):
I packaged the notecards, envelopes ,and seals in one of our Clear Card Boxes and then used the new Noteworthy Belly Band to decorate the card box. The belly band is our November TE webstore exclusive item and was designed with a decorative scalloped edge and score lines in just the right place to fit snugly around the Clear Card Box. I added a sentiment from the coordinating Noteworthy stamp set and finished it off with an arrangement using stamps from the previously released Fresh Florals set. Here’s a closer look at the belly band die and the Noteworthy stamp set:
And now here’s the complete supply list for my project:
Now that you’ve heard about our Initially collection, it’s your turn to choose! I’m continuing with my Question of Day, but today’s question is more of choice.
Today I’m giving away one Initially die set of your choice!
So which letter would you choose? Is it your first name, last name, the name of a friend or family member? What would you make with your letter if you were to win?
Leave your comment before Wednesday, November 2nd at 11:59pm PST. One entry per person. Each comment will also be entered into our Grand Prize drawing for 2 gifts of 500 crafty points! Winners will be chosen at random and announced on Thursday, November 3rd, 2016.
