So now let’s get started with a creature from your dreams in the Stamp & Die Combo Dreamer:
Gayatri created a gorgeous backdrop for these unicorns on her card! The coloring is simple and the addition of the sequins makes the whole things sparkle! In addition, she’s beautifully showcased our new Stitched Cloud Duo on her adorable card.
You’ll definitely be seeing more of the Stitched Cloud Duo die set the rest of the week and beyond as I know it will be very loved in my collection:
In addition to the Stitched Cloud Duo, the unicorns also pair beautifully with our new Rainbow Cutting Plate as Melody shares below:
There are so many different ways to use this rainbow cutting plate! I decided to use the die cut design as a stencil to create this one layer image panel:
After sponging each arch of the rainbow with TE ink, I masked that portion of the image panel and stamped the Cloud Nine background in the open white space. Then I cut the Hello Script die from a scrap piece of cardstock and used that as a stencil to sponge the word with Oreo ink. I grabbed the ‘friend’ sentiment from the Noteworthy stamp set and used my MISTI to line it up perfectly underneath the stenciled hello.
Because I can’t leave things alone I decided to put a touch of sparkle into the creation using sequins from the Snow Flurries collection.
To go along with the unicorn theme, we’re showcasing a cute dragon today who also happens to go brilliantly with the Rainbow Cutting Plate. Check out the stamp and die combo and this adorable card that Jen Shults designed:
Look at all the fabulous stitching throughout her card! Gotta love that and the bright, bold colors! Her use of Lollipop and Plum Punch cardstock to anchor the rainbow really give it a different look and I love how she only used the strips of the rainbow from inside the cutting plate design!
Last fall we took the girls to see Pete’s Dragon so as I contemplated how to use this set, I imagined the dragon the in the movie flying high over the dense forest. Here’s my take on the stamp set:
I cut the tree from Build a Scene – Winter Trees multiple times from Granny Smith, Peapod, Sweet Basil, and houndstooth patterned paper from the Playful Patterns – Harvest 6×6 Paper Pack. I added some detail to the lightest trees with Copic marker and also used the Cloud Nine Background (pictured below) stamped tone on tone in the background of the sky.
That’s it for today’s new products and we’ll have more to see tomorrow! But for now, I have another Question of the Day which means another chance to win it before you can buy it! Just leave a comment with your answer for a chance to win!
Today I’m giving away the Rainbow Cutting Plate!
