April Sneak Peeks Day 2: For a Special Mom
Hey there, crafty friends! It’s time for another day of sneak peeks! Today’s peeks are filled with flowers, butterflies, and more as we celebrate the special women in our lives who we call ‘mom’. As you take a look around, you’ll also want to think beyond Mother’s Day as lots of our new products will stretch beyond to many more occasions and themes.

This is the same set that I used on my own sneak peek project for today in combination with the new Block Party – Mom die and sentiment from the Simply Said – Mom stamp set:
I started by masking a strip about 1/3 down from the top of my card panel. Then I began stamping the butterflies to achieve the all over pattern. Tip: whenever I’m creating my own patterned paper, I always start by stamping the largest images first and go down in size from there leaving the smallest images for last as it’s easier to fit those small images in whatever open spaces I have left. And one more note regarding the color of the yellow butterflies, it was achieved by off-stamping our Dijon ink once before stamping it onto the card layer.
After finishing the pattern, I used the MISTI tool to stamp the center of the largest butterflies and then added Taylor’s Tiny Twinkles, placing them with my Embellie Gellie tool. Then I die cut the Block Party – Mom die from orange swiss dot paper from the Rainbow Brights 6×6 paper pack and stamped the sentiment with Earl Grey ink.
