More Inky Fingers – Valentine Crafting Inspiration!
Hey, crafty friends! Didn’t you love the Valentine project that Taylor’s girls shared on the last post? Madi and Charlee did a great job and I loved the Valentine cards that they created for their friends. I have more Valentine crafting inspiration to share with you today using the Inky Fingers – Valentine stamp set with a little help from my girls, Tacy and Hana.
But first, don’t forget about the promotion that is going on in the Taylored Expressions webstore:
Now through Sunday, January 19th, when you purchase the Inky Fingers – Valentine stamp set, you can get one of our 3×3″ Notecard dies at 15% off. You can choose between the Tuck & Close Notecard die, the Scalloped Notecard die, or the Bracket Notecard die.
*If you purchased Inky Fingers – Valentine last week during release and want to get in on this week’s 15% discount on notecard dies, just contact us and we’ll set you up with a code you can use at checkout!
Watch the video below to see the Valentine project that I created with my girls:
Even though my girls are older, it’s still fun to create projects like this! Hana and Tacy love sharing little gifts like these with her friends at school. I also love that some of the great tools that are out there to help make crafting easier for all of us, enable people with special needs to participate as well! I love how using a MISTI, made it easy for my Tacy to stamp the bugs and critters for our Valentines!
The tags on the treat bags are created with the Heart Stacklets die collection. We die cut the larger heart shape on a folded piece of cardstock and had the edge of the die overlap the fold so that it created a small heart card that opens up. The cute bugs and critters from the Inky Fingers – Valentine stamp set are on the front of the tags and the sentiments are stamped on the inside.
If you would like to do this project with the kids (no matter the age!) in your life, check out the list below for the supplies that you need:
Our mini ink pads are perfect for using with the Inky Fingers stamp sets. Here are a few fun color suggestions for some of the critters from the Inky Fingers – Valentine stamp set: Watermelon for the ladybug, Strawberry Milkshake for the flying bug, Granny Smith for the frog, and Lemon Meringue for the bee. We want to see your Inky Fingers projects! Now through the end of the month (1/31/20), share your photos using any of the Inky Fingers stamp sets using the #TEinkyfingers hashtag and you will automatically be entered to win! We are giving away four $25 gift cards!
I hope you are able to spend time with the special people, no matter the age, and do some crafting to share some Valentine’s Day joy! Thank you so much for stopping by today and stop back here at the TE blog this weekend to learn about a very special card drive.
