Roll Up a Beautiful Home Decor Piece!

Hey, crafty friends! I am back again today with another project to share created with felt! If you caught the live on our Facebook page last Tuesday, you caught a sneak peek of this project created by Taylor. She also shared more about all of the felt that we carry in the TE webstore and how to die cut and assemble the different flower options that we carry designed to work perfectly with our felt. The live video broadcasts are available to rewatch on the Taylored Expressions Facebook Page anytime!
Today’s post features a video from Taylor on how you can create a shadowbox decor piece like this. Before I get to the video, I want to remind you about the felt promotion going on in the Taylored Expressions webstore:
Now through Sunday, June 28th, buy any 5 rolls or packages of felt, get one of equal or lesser value FREE (discount applied in cart). This offer is good on 100% Wool Felt (rolls) and 100% Wool Designer Felt (all styles/designs). We are unable to give rain checks for out of stock felt for this promotion. Click below to stock up and save now!
Now, watch the video below to see how you can create a shadowbox home decor piece using stamps, ink, stencils, and felt:
In the video, Taylor shares how to die cut the 100% Wool Felt using the Roll With It Flower 1 die. This die is one of our Mixed-Media dies and has a deeper cutting surface for use with heavier materials, such as felt, chipboard, cloth and multiple layers of cardstock. They work the same as our original thin steel dies and can be used with nearly every die-cutting machine.

Taylor created a rainbow of flowers and added Bits & Pieces – Drip Drops to the flower centers. She added the flowers to a background that is stenciled with the Polka Party stencil with Sea Salt ink and stamped with an inspirational sentiment from the Words of Faith stamp set.
What a wonderful gift this shadowbox would be! Although, I would maybe make one to display for myself too! 😉
Check out the list below for the supplies that you need to create this project.

One more thing before I go today…

Taylor will be LIVE on the Taylored Expressions Facebook Page today at 1PM Central Time. Taylor always has something fun to share (today she is sharing ideas for using up your scraps!) and we love being able to connect with you! I hope you will join us!
