Using Layered Stencils to Create a Colorful Hello!
Hey, crafty friends! I am back today to share another layered stencil project with you that Taylor created. Taylor’s card has a bright and fun feel that she created with the Spring Fling Layering Stencil.
Before we get to the project for today, I want to remind you about the new products that debuted a few days ago that you will love adding to your crafty workspaces! Also, don’t forget about the promotion going on for the layered stencil sets in the TE webstore…
On Tuesday we introduced our NEW Grid Paper Placemats and Crafty Checklist Duo. Both of these new Desktop Essentials products are available to purchase right now in the TE webstore. Click below to shop!
Also, right now through Sunday, August 1st our layered stencil sets are 15% off. Now is the time to grab that design that you have had your eye on. Here are the layered stencil sets available in the TE webstore:
- Modern Holly Layering Stencil
- Spring Fling Layering Stencil
- Plaid Layering Stencil
- Puppy Love Layering Stencil
It’s time for today’s project from Taylor! Watch the video below to see how she created her cards with the Spring Fling Layering Stencil set and new Grid Paper Placemats:
In the video, Taylor shows you how easy it is to use the printed 6″x6″ alignment guide on the Grid Paper Placemats along with our layered stencil sets. She uses the Spring Fling Layering Stencil with her Blender Brushes and lots of bright and colorful inks! I really love the Lollipop and Blue Raspberry colors she used for the flowers and how they create a beautiful purple color when the ink colors overlap.
Taylor split her stenciled piece of cardstock in half to create two cards. The Lollipop card bases are stamped with the Gingham Check Background (currently part of the Farm Fresh Kit) using Lollipop ink for a great tone on tone look. Her sentiment is created by pairing the Framed Script – Hello die with the Building Blocks – Be Bright stamp set and coordinating Building Blocks die.
Check out the supply list below for the products that Taylor used to create this colorful set of cards:
Today, Taylor will be showing you a closer look at Gamsol Starter Kit that we carry in the TE webstore and how you can use it to step up your coloring during “T Time” at 1pm Central on the Taylored Expressions Facebook Page. We would love to have you join us for some crafty chat! Hope to see you there!
Thank you so much for stopping by the TE Blog this week and hope you were inspired by the layered stencil projects that Taylor and I created. I will be back with more crafty inspiration to share next week! Happy crafting, everyone!
