My project today features the new Pennant Parade – Halloween Clearly Crafty stamp set that I designed to coordinate with the previously released Pennant Parade Cling & Clear Combo stamp set. Now you can dress up the pennants for Halloween! Watch the video below to see this new set in action:
In the video, I share how I embossed the Pennant Parade Background by using the MISTI Creative Corners as a guide in my MISTI to stamp the background image in a few steps and have everything lineup perfectly. I show you how to stamp the Halloween fills into the pennants and use a sentiment from the Pennant Parade – Halloween set to finish it off.
Here’s a closer look at the new Halloween products that I used on my project:
The new Pennant Parade – Halloween clear stamp set coordinates with the previously release Pennant Parade Cling & Clear Combo stamp set. There are 5 new pennant options designed with a Halloween theme along with seven sentiments that you’ll find yourself reaching for again and again.
The Pick of the Patch Cling & Clear Combo set allows you to easily stamp a bunch of pumpkins at once with the background stamp and then add stems and optional jack-o-lantern face details using the included clear stamps. You can leave the full background or cut out the pumpkins using the Pick of the Patch dies to use on your projects.
It was so much fun to dress up the Pennant Parade Cling & Clear Combo stamp set for Halloween! There are 5 different Halloween themed fills to choose from and some of the patterns can be used for other seasons and holidays.
I stamped the sentiment onto a Double-Ended Flag Stacklets die and added it to the bottom of my pennant background. I couldn’t resist stamping up a few pumpkins from the new Pick of the Patch Bundle to add to my card. I am pretty sure I used those pumpkins on every project that I created for this release! *wink!*
I am sure you’ve noticed that I love making tags! So it’s probably no surprise that I created a coordinating tag with the Pennant Parade set! I die cut a tag base using the Tag Stacklets 2 die collection from one of the backgrounds that I created and I plan to use the card and tag together to deliver spooky sweets.
Check out the list below for the supplies that I used to create this project:
Here’s more inspiration from members of the TE Creative Team as well as a closer look at a few more of the new Halloween products that are available to purchase today!
Use the new Handlettered Halloween die collection to cut out the sentiments from the previously released Handlettered Halloween stamp set. You are going to love the close-cut detail that will bring added dimension and contrast to these sentiments!
Noriko Fairchild gave the new Pick of the Patch pumpkins a whole new look with her gorgeous muted color combination of Peaches & Cream, Pink Champagne, and Lavender Glaze. She added the pumpkins to a Mini Slim shaker card and topped her project off with the ‘Happy Halloween’ sentiment from the Handlettered Halloween stamp set embossed in gold on vellum and cut out with the new Handlettered Halloween die collection.
You knew it was coming, right? Big Grumpy is being forced to go trick or treating and you can get him all dressed up with the accessories from the Big Grumpy – Halloween stamp set. The set includes a witch hat that Big Grumpy will not enjoy wearing, a candy bucket that Big Grumpy will complain about carrying, and sentiments to tell you how Big Grumpy is really feeling! Cut out the images from the Big Grumpy – Halloween stamp set using the coordinating Big Grumpy – Halloween dies.
Jill Hawkins made Big Grumpy dress up in the witch hat and get festive for Halloween. In protest, Big Grumpy is insulting all of the other trick or treaters…! Jill created the spooky background for her card using the Bare Trees Background stamped through the larger rectangle from the Masking Stencils – Rectangles set. She dressed up Big Grumpy and the Halloween scene using the new Big Grumpy – Halloween stamp set and coordinating dies. My favorite part is that little ghost helping itself to a piece of candy corn!
Jen Shults tried to get Big Grumpy – Cat to dress up for Halloween, but he absolutely refused as you can see by his sign! Jen used the Set the Scene Clouds – Stencil Strips set to create the spooky sky for the background on her card. She used the new Big Grumpy – Halloween stamp set and coordinating dies to add the pumpkin, ghost and candy to her Halloween scene. She also added more candy and the cute treat bucket on the inside of her card!
We think you’ll love this spooky new spiderweb stencil designed to fit our Mini Slim collection! Blend up backgrounds, add sparkle and dimension using texture pastes, and more with the new Mini Slim – Spiderweb stencil!
It’s all about the sparkle on this Mini Slim Halloween card created by Gayatri Murali! Gayatri used a purple glitter paste through the new Mini Slim – Spiderweb stencil to create the spooky and sparkly background for a few of the fun images from the Big Grumpy – Halloween stamp set. The ‘Happy Halloween’ sentiment is from the Handlettered Halloween stamp set and Gayatri embossed it in white on Oreo cardstock and cut it out using the coordinating Handlettered Halloween die.
Who knew rainbows and spiderwebs went together so well? Noriko Fairchild applied Oreo ink through the Mini Slim – Spiderweb stencil over the top of a rainbow blended background. The colorful results are so much fun! The sentiments that Noriko added to her Mini Slim card are from the Mini Strips – Halloween stamp and cut out with the Mini Strips die and layered onto the coordinating Mini Strips Backer die cuts.
