OMG these are too darn cute. I didn’t even know that PTI sold these bags. My first thought when I saw the project was “where did she get the bags?” lol. I’m off to buy some right now! Love your blog.

Found your blog just surfing around. I have several of the cupcake stamps you’ve used and I have NO idea how to use them! If you don’t mind a copy cat…I might swing back by and try to recreate a few of yours!

MC to you! Our comfort food is tradition at our huge (4 generations) family party on Christmas Eve. We have ham and this potato dish (commonly referred to as funeral potatoes which is really funny because we serve them at christmas time)… you must must must try them sometime!

  • nancy morgan

Love you bright and happy cupcake card! Our traditional Christmas food is Quiche for brunch = )!

Merry Christmas Taylor! Wicked is well…WICKED! I love that show. Since I am a professional classical singer, I tend not to like musicals so much, but that show is genius. My kids rock out to the soundtrack all day long! WE are having hoagies today (the 26th) …a philly favorite!

    Merry Christmas!
I have lived in the same town all my life. My favorite traditions are making candy to give as gifts to family, friends and co workers. It includes choco. covered cherries, choco. and peanut butter fudge, buckeyes, coconut balls and cut out butter cookies. We always buy a ham. On xmas morning i have sausage/egg cassarole, french toast cassarole, and anything else someone may want. I love to make people happy with food. Enjoy your holiday with your friends and family. I’ll be reading you again next year! Thanks keep up the great work!

precious card! I think the little rhinestones on top of each cupcake makes them look sooooooo yummy-licious!!!

my fave comfort food during the holidays is probably the peanut butter fudge my grandmother used to make. She gave me the recipe and I like to make it for gifts. But one BIG batch always stays home for the fam!!! It is soooooo addicting! 🙂 We also like the ranch/dill oyster crackers for snacking while watching all the fun Christmas movies. That and a good beef stick with lots of different cheese slices and crackers. Oh – and can’t forget my mother-in-law’s FAMOUS pound cake! She sends a HUGE cake each year that never lasts more than a day. Gosh, we are such piggies!!!!! 😀

Merry Christmas Taylor! I live in NE, so I know of the comfort foods from here that you talk of. My son asked if he could make monkey bread just yesterday! He is becoming quite the cook and baker and it turned out wonderfully.
Where in IA do you go?

Merry Christmas to you, Taylor! Hope you have a great trip & lots of happy times! I haven’t had monkey bread in a LONG time – so good! My daughter makes another version of it, putting a cream cheese cube in each ball – it’s a really good way to make it even better!

  • Heather

Hi Taylor! Merry Christmas to you and your family. I love this card. I think cupcake stamps are wonderful – I have several! This new one is a must have! I hope your trip is wonderful and relaxing. You do so much for everyone, all of the time, so make sure you enjoy your time away. Have a wonderful new year in 2008.

  • Laura

Merry Christmas, Taylor!! My favorite food this time of year are the Christmas cookies. My mom makes the best sugar cookies from my Nana’s recipe. Also, she makes a white chocolate raspberry cheesecake… ughhh I can feel the inches being added to my hips!! Have fun at Wicked… it’s a fantastic show!!

  • Deborah

Adorable cupcake card Taylor! Enjoy the play and your visit back home to Iowa! Bundle up good! Have yourself a very Merry Christmas! Look forward to your 2008 creations! Deb

Merry Christmas to you and your family Taylor. Monkey bread . . . I have no idea what it is . . . but I bet it is good. My favorite comfort foods at the holidays come from my grandma who made that wonderful macaroni and cheese in the oven and the cheese got all ooooey and goooey and bubbley and it tasted oh so good . . . nothing like the Kraft Macaroni and Cheese in the box that these little children have to endure these days. Nothing like Grandma’s yummy mac and cheese. I also like the peanut butter cookies with Kisses on top. I could eat massive amounts of those.

Big hugs from Pegi, Willow, and Isabella.

  • Shannan

I love this card! You are just going to LOVE Wicked!!!!!!!!!

  • Michelle

Adorable card! Merry Christmas to you, Taylor! Enjoy your holidays, and eat all you want of those comfort foods. We can start over in the new year! Isn’t that what those resolutions are for? LOL!

  • DeniseLynn

Oh Merry Christmas to you too Taylor!!! I adore the cupcake card and I have to tell you that I never paid any attention to the cupcake stamps I saw … that is until I found your blog about a year ago. They’ve grown on me but I have not purchased any. HOWEVER, each Christmas my in-laws give me money to buy my own present and I have already decided that I must have at least ONE cupcake stamp in my collection (I was eyeballing some Lockheart stamps – I think that was the name anyway). I don’t have a blog of my own but perhaps if I find time to make a cupcake card I’ll mail one to you. *wink* Thanks for enabling …errr … I mean inspiring me!

Merry Christmas to you and yours and may you have safe travel. Eat Up!!! (oh and my favorite is peanut butter balls – yummo!)
