I finally changed my blog banner… it’s my “Did It Myself Blog Banner”! *grin* If you know me at all, you would be so proud to know that I figured it out all by myself. I KNOW!! *said in my best Monica from Friends voice* I can hardly believe it! I won’t tell you how long it actually took me (because that would be embarrassing), but it feels good to have a fresh, new look at the top of my blog. What do you think!? Please be gentle… it’s my first try! 😉

Great job, especially for your very first time. The banner is really pretty. The colors are very fresh looking, bright without being garish if you know what I mean. Really very very nice.

Oooh, I love it! You did such a great job- I’ve been working on my for 2 weeks now and know what you mean about trying to figure it out! I’m getting bored of my typepad template banner and want to get a new one up, but it isn’t just right yet. Yours looks great!

I think it looks great! I love that kit from TSP. And the little part where “Live out loud” is writen almost looks like a cupcake top!

Hey Girlie!! It looks fab!! I’m very proud of you. I love computers and all they can do and the challenges that come with the advantages!!! You did a great job on this …. and, YES I DO KNOW HOW LONG IT TAKES TO FIGURE SOMETHING OUT!!! This was not a waste of your time and talents at all!

Looks really nice. I keep meaning to change my blog banner…and i do want to attempt it myself. It would be hard to let another designer do it for me even if I don’t have ANY digital skills.

It looks really nice Taylor – especially for a first attempt. Love your colors. I had mine done by someone else even though I have photoshop. If anyone is interested, there is an online class that I have signed up for that looks really good. I’m just waiting for my dsl to start. Go to JessicaSprague.com – the starting class is $45. and looks like it’s well worth it.

I think that you have done a Great job…I haven’t even figured out how to blog or post picts or anything beyond emails and web surfing…if I need an attachment to an email my kids have to help me!

I LOVE IT!! Very soft and pretty! I did mine recently as well. I don’t have fancy PHotoshop or anything, but a cheap Wal-mart picture software, but it’s fun to dabble with!! 🙂 You did a geat job Taylor!

Taylor- I really like it! I love those colors and it’s simple but eye catching!! I haven’t done any digital stuff yet either. It is really intimidating to figure it all out. I just got Photoshop Elements as a gift and can’t wait to check it out. I really have no idea what I’m doing either!!! Great 1st attempt and I can’t wait to see what else you come up with!!

what a great idea! I did something similar a few weeks ago for a co-worker. used Melanie's tees set – plan to upload to my blog soon. I love the colors & using the JustRite monogram was a perfect addition to it!
