Blog Design Team: Let Me Call You “Sweet Heart”
Today is travel day for a lot of the TE Team! The CHA Mega Show was a resounding success and it was so much fun getting to see old friends and meet new fans of TE. While we are in the air and on the road, we wanted to share a project from Blog Team Designer Wanda Guess, who has crafted the most adorable pins using TE Felt! Check out her project below…
Wanda’s Notes: I wanted to create a sweet Valentine
project using the gorgeous TE Felt, and I came up with the idea to create
some pretty pins! The pins are all hand sewn using different colors of
TE Felt and TE dies.
Wanda’s Notes: It’s really fun to craft with felt, and the dies
cut through TE Felt like a dream.
Wanda’s Notes: I chose red and cream as my base colors
and stitched them together with embroidery floss.
Wanda’s Notes: Afterward, I sewed on
some pin back and glued the flowers on with fabric glue.
Wanda’s Notes: I added pretty
red sequins for a finishing touch.
Wanda’s Notes: The tags are made from Tag Stacklets
and then I used two stamp sets – one for my frame (Valentine Doodles) and the other for the
Valentine’s sentiment (Punny Love).
Wanda’s Notes: Sometimes it’s nice to think outside the box and
make something creative that the recipient can enjoy later – after
opening their card! There are endless possibilities for this project –
so many colors of felt, and so many pretty things you could add on.
Wanda’s Notes:I
hope I’ve inspired you to make a sweet heart project today!
How darling are these? Thanks so much, Wanda, for reminding us that we can combine papercrafts with fabric-crafts for a special project! Visit Wanda at A Blog Called Wanda to see more of her fabulous work.
