Happy Thursday, crafty friends! It’s time for another installment of “Today I Learned…” Today we have a step-by-step tutorial from Blog Team designer Amy Sheffer, who is sharing an awesome technique on how to create a stamped and die-cut background using patterned Cutting Plates!

Hi TE fans, it’s Amy here today, and I love being able to get some extra mileage out of my cutting plates. See that
background? I used the Hexagon Cutting Plate to make a stencil, then
used the stencil to sponge and stamp a background. Last, I offset two
cutting plate die-cuts for a unique look.
