Love the card. My mum was always baking. So makes great cakes and pies. She always used to make special birthday cakes. Still does for the little ones, but I miss out now I'm growed. Hugz

Beautiful card! I don't have a particular memory per se, but I really don't have much of a memory without my mom. She was always there, she has always been the glue that holds us together, and a steady calming influence in all our live.

  • Sharon D.

What a lovely card! Every mom would be happy to receive it. When I was young my mom & I often went shopping on Saturday afternoon while my dad & brothers were pheasant hunting. We often got a bag of caramel corn. I still enjoy a bag of caramel corn!

  • Chark

beautiful! My mom makes all of us kids and grandkids feel like her favorite–how is that possible?!

  • Phyllis Freese

This card looks so realistic that it almost jumps off the page. My mother in law is 93 and still going strong, even after babysitting my kids before they were old enough for school. They have kids of their own now, but she is so very special in their lives.

  • Mutzy Mia

My mom is the best. She was widowed at 38 and raised three children by herself. She is 92 now and continues to be an encouragement to all of us. Thanks for the chance to win.

  • Carol Grell

I love the look of the watercolors on this card. One special memory of my Mom is her making quilts. Watching her choose the material, cutting and then piecing and sewing by hand while watching TV. My favorite quilt is a Christmas Tree wall hanging. It is beautiful. I have looked for the pattern so that I could use scrapbook paper to make my own representation of it, but I have not found it.

  • Sherry Butcher

Wonderful, I love that gorgeous card with the purple flowers, purple is my fav. My daughter is a great military wife and mother, she raise 3 children with her HD over seas 3 tours and now all 3 are in the military in the USA. What a beautiful card!! My mom is the most special woman in the world…she has made tremendous sacrifices for us 5 children! She's halfway around the world visiting her siblings in her mother country…can't wait to have her back by Saturday 🙂

  • Ruth Dupchen

When I was a little girl I lived in an all boy neighborhood so I didn't have any girlfriends and my Father didn't want me to play with the boys but my Mother knew that it was important to play outside so she allowed me to go outside and play with the boys. I learned a lot from them and it really paid off when I had my own son.

  • SHartl

Wow, I love that gorgeous card with the purple flowers! My Mom is the one who introduced me to crafting in general and stamping in particular and it's still something we share. She even stamps with my 4 year old daughter and it makes me happy to see them crafting away together. My mom also made handmade Halloween costumes every single year! She often designed them herself and spent hours on sewing them..while also running a business and raising my brother and myself. One year I was Mrs. Potato Head and one yeare I was a princess riding on a pony. The pony was sewn and stuffed so that it fit around my waist…like i was riding it. So funny!

  • Mary W

My Mother helped me learn to draw through example and patiently letting me play with art supplies. Her art was so beautiful but she never shared with others or finished much – just played. I always treasure her work and hope that I have passed this addiction along to my daughter and granddaughters. We all love acting together.

  • jamie vanskiver

One of my favorite memories I have with my mom…Every Sunday night she would sit down on the couch to watch the family night Disney movie and I would lay my head on her belly and listen to all the noises it would make until I fell asleep!

  • Mary-Anne V

I have fond memories of my mom sewing clothes for myself and my sister…she has an amazing talent and puts so much love into her creations. Glad she can share that with my kids now. Such a pretty card and wonderful way to brighten up a mother's day.

My best friend in high school lost her mother to cancer. My mom Offered to help her whenever she needed mom help. I was so proud

  • SuprFoxDesigns

My mom has always been the best- she is strong, supportive, loving, wise, thoughtful and perfect for me and I am so lucky!

  • Gina Furman

My Mom raised the four of us children in an alcoholic/abusive relationship (my biological father). She always had time to try and make our lives "normal" though. We went berry picking, had a garden, went for bike rides, swimming, picnics. She canned veggies and fruits, made breads and jellies/jams. She never gave up. Now she has dementia and can't remember any of those things, but I sure do, and I love her all the more for them!

  • Agnes Dobek

My mom passed away way too young but I have many wonderful memories of her. We used to love to go shopping together, bike riding, going to the beach and doing other fun things as a family.

  • Janis

My Mom is no longer with us, but I have a very dear MIL that I love! I like to show her how much I care by giving her flowers for her home or garden each year.

So many special memories of my mom. She's my closest and dearest friend. One of the most precious memories…..she was my rock while my son was born. She stayed with me the whole time (28+ hours worth). Precious for both of us ♥

I remember my mom baking cookies with us three kids!

  • Denise Bryant

Absolutely beautiful card! Love the layers and the colors! Gorgeous!
I just spend my Mom's 93rd birthday with her. All 4 of her kids got together for the day, which doesn't happen too often! She was so delighted and looked so pretty that day in a special outfit I picked out for her. Got a lovely picture to commemorate the day!

  • Four11Lady

This card is beautifully done. I wish my Mom were still here so that I could make her a card……….she would have raved about it, no matter what it looked like and would have carried it with her, so she could show off what her daughter had made. I was her only child and although we didn't always agree at times, I was the light of her eye. Now I make my EX Mother in law cards and she keeps them displayed on her china cabinet until she cannot fit anymore. Then she stores them in a safe place (her words) and starts another collection. LOL

  • Louise Wagner

My mother would've loved this card! She loved purple. She sadly passed 5 years ago, but all the lessons she taught me are invaluable. Go to church, help others, turn the other cheek, save money and don't forget to laugh. Her laugh was infectious. At her memorial that is the one thing said over and over – she was always smiling and laughing. I'm making these cards for my sisters and wonderful mother-in-law. She loves purple too!

  • Mary Holshouser

My mother would have enjoyed getting this card. She was an excellent cook. She sewed beautifully – making all of our clothes. (At that time it was the thing to do). She didn't learn to drive until was in her 60s and daddy got sick and couldn't drive any more. She had a lead foot (and it's been passed down to the next generations). thanks for sharing a beautiful card.

  • KT Fit Kitty

Julia's card is absolutely beautiful. The lavender looks real – I can almost smell it! My Mom stayed with me for a week or so and took care of me after I had surgery in the mid-1990's. It was the first time it was just the two of us spending time together and I really felt loved and cared for. I love my Mom! I would be so excited to win your gift certificate – thank you!

  • Amy C.

I'm blessed with a wonderful mother! She is so giving of her time and always has an encouraging word!

  • Amy Seigler

One of my favorite memories with my Mom was taking Glamour Shots together. We had a Blast! We would tease each other on how we looked because they would always try to get you to dress in a way that you don't normally. We laughed so much that day! My Mom is still with me today so I cherish every day that I get to have her. She is my Best Friend! I wish all of you Ladies out there a Very Happy Mother's Day. Those of you that have lost your Mother, may the fond memories of them give you great joy this Mother's Day!

  • Mrs. GraceWorks

My mom was such a gracious, giving person. She was happiest when she was feeding a houseful of people, whether that was family members, missionaries, college students from church, Senior citizens or children. Her beautiful smile and gentle laugh were just as much food for the soul as her fantastic rolls were for the body. Mom passed away last summer. I pray I'll be able to pass on the love of the Lord and love of others that she embodied in her life!

  • Rebecca Ednie

My girlfriend is the best mom and as her kids are a few years older, I watched her excellent example and used her as a model for raising my own kids. She is always kind and calm and really puts herself in her kids shoes before disciplining them. She even homeschooled them until high school.

  • Peg Coombes

My Mom's laugh is what I remember most, she said you should laugh everyday or at least smile! She always made me laugh when she laughed, love card btw

  • Alice H

My mother loved to sew and cook. My fondest memories are the times that we cooked together or when she would share sewing tips with me.

  • Kris B

Lovely card! The watercoloring is beautiful! Love the vellum sentiment panel!

The card is beautiful and instruction are very informative. My mom passed away many years ago. I still remember how she would have a cup of coffee with me every day after school.

My Mom always worked hard to make every holiday special, and she always made a point of having room for someone who had no place to go.

  • Tona

This is such a pretty card.
Every memory I have of my mom is special. ♥

  • Natalie

This is a gorgeous card!! My mom just turned 77 and she loves to receive homemade cards so I'm already thinking of what I will be making her!! A few years ago she bought me a gift certificate from Taylored Expressions. Doesn't she have great taste!! 🙂

  • Evelyn

beautiful card! My mother passed away 6 years ago this April, so mother's day is always bittersweet for me. she would have loved this lavender card. Now that she is gone, I make sure that I send each of my sisters a card to celebrate the day and remember our mother.

  • Sue D

Gorgeous card. This will be the first Mother's day without my mom. She always supported everything I did and I miss her.

  • Liz Gessner McAllister

My mother is absolutely the most steadfast beautiful person I know. She has done everything from hang gliding, skiing steep slopes, starting a business (several) with my father, restoring houses, slopping hogs and living on a farm when she was young with no shower… they threw buckets of well water on each other. She always approaches life with a smile and sees the good in everyone. I cannot express how much I admire her!

  • Christine Kiehl

So beautiful the card. So many blossoms to color! You did a wonderful job. Although my mother passed when I was only 9; I have adopted four other mothers over the years! May sure snuck up on me!

  • Laraine R

Beautiful card! My mom is in the later stages of dementia, not being able to take care of herself, also not knowing who we are! It makes it so hard to go see her, so all I have is memories. For many years, my sister and I always took mom out for Mother's day, went shopping and out to eat. We always laughed and laughed!

  • Betty Sue

Beautiful card! I was young and we had lost my dad and my Mom would take us to the beach driving an over the cab camper. She would back it onto the beach and we would have a ball!!!

  • Kim B.

So beautiful!!! You did an amazing job!!!

  • Taunya Butler

This card is exquisite and my mother-in-law would love it because it is all her favorite things and colors!! Awesomely done and just so pretty!! Favorite memory of my mom is her reading stories to us but more importantly of her teaching me to pray and believe in God!! Love her so much!! Thanks for all you do and for the inspiration!!

  • Lynn Gauthier

Very pretty card! Fabulous water coloring! So very nicely done!
A very fun memory of my Mom is when we took our first selfie! We laughed so hard. Then I mailed the pic to my Mom and she thought it was a horrible pic of her. I've never found the pic and would sure love to have it now!!!
