And now, let’s hear from Julia about her project…

The new Taylored Expressions Uplifting Watercolor Panels are absolutely
beautiful. Both the watercoloring trend and the coloring trend are huge
right now and I love that these panels can be used for either. Today I’m
sharing two card designs that I created with a couple of these panels.
The inspirational sayings and scripture are so lovely and I love being
able to share these with friends.

The panels themselves are
extremely quick, easy and FUN to color. In fact, I just couldn’t stop!
These are VERY addictive! I’ll be using one of the extra watercolored
images as a bookmark and the others are just sitting waiting to be made
into cards for someone special.

I used dry watercolors with these
panels, but you can use any type of watercolor you wish. Just add a
little water and add in your color. If you want a blended look, add
water to the area first and then add in some color. If you’d like more
precise coloring, be sure to dry one area well before adding paint to an
adjoining area.

To create the cards, I’ve used cardstock bases
covered by cutting plate backgrounds die cut from white cardstock. I
love the white look so that it doesn’t compete with the main focal
points.

Some fun embellishments and sequins finish off the cards.
I might leave these projects on my desk a bit before sending them off. I
love seeing those beautiful verses inspiring me each day!

Thanks so much, Julia, for sharing these beautiful cards with us today! Be sure to check out Julia’s blog, Belle Papier to see more of her lovely projects. Have a joyful day!
